For most the question would be Alliance or Horde. To be the dashing hero or the misunderstood underdog. It's not really much of a choice when my hubby, all his friends and my kids are playing horde characters. I think the only person I know who plays for alliance is my brother-in-law.
Horde it is. Now the question is what type of character? So I asked my hubby what does your guild need & he told me either a healer or a tank. By nature I tend to be support crew. When I played role-playing games I was almost always the priest, druid or medic.
Healer it is. So it looks like for healing it is either be a priest, paladin, shaman, or druid. It looks like as a newbie a priest is a bad idea. A paladin looks like it won't be too hard, but the healing if for a single person, not ideal for helping out a decent size party. Which leaves Shaman or Druid. I seriously debated both, the most serious drawback of the horde druid for me is... it's a cow. >sigh<>sigh< did I mention I don't like cows. Oh well it's just pixels. Oops best not say that too loud.
